*This research paper, titled "The Impact of Grammar and Syntax on the Interpretation of the Holy Qur’an," aims to highlight and clarify the influence of Arabic linguistic sciences—namely grammar and syntax—on the interpretation of Qur’anic verses. Its purpose is to understand the characteristics and unique features of the Arabic language in which the Qur’an was revealed, as it is impossible to fully comprehend and explain the Qur’an without relying on this language and its grammatical rules. This is only natural, as Arabic is the language of the Qur’an and the language of the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, our Master Muhammad (peace be upon him), upon whom the Qur’an was revealed through the divine revelation brought by Angel Gabriel (peace be upon him) from Al-lah Al-mighty. The research paper uncovers the subtleties of the Arabic language when interpreting the Qur’an and encourages Muslims to reflect deeply on the Qur’anic text and to understand Al-lah’s intended message to us in His glorious Book. This can only be achieved through learning the language of the Holy Qur’an, to understand its verses, meanings, and the divine intent behind them. This study concludes by emphasizing the importance of learning the Arabic language and illustrating some of the benefits and outcomes of its influence on Qur’anic interpretation. It also outlines how one can utilize the Arabic language to comprehend the miraculous nature of the Holy Qur’an and draw closer to it—to savor its eloquence and rhetorical beauty, and to perceive its meanings and purposes.
