*Result*: New Trends Set In Designing Embedded Systems For Mechatronics.

*This article highlights some aspects linked to the structure and design of embedded systems. Apart from the classical systems based on using microprocessors, the application of hybrid systems starts to expand more and more. Such a system can be conceived as an entity of several types of processors (for example, micro-controllers and digital signal processors - DSP) or microprocessors with FPGA type reconfigurable circuits. The latter has very good chances of being accepted as a solution for an embedded system which delivers a high performance and is at the same time versatile being able to cover practically every type of application.
