The Godson-3 is a third-generation product in a series of microprocessors developed by the Institute of Computing Technology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Godson-3 was engineered for high-throughput server applications and high performance scientific computing. Hardware support for the floating-point format and register is examined.*
