The Blox is defined as a Java software component in the form of a Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) bean. Every Blox in the Alphablox library has a function. Developing an Alphablox OLAP requires referencing and configuring Blox components with tags in JavaServer pages. Alphablox employs an application server to provide session control, business logic and certain elements of security and to run the software. An Alphablox application offers a browser for the client.
