*The rapid pace of digital technologies triggers a range of process improvements through more innovative initiatives. However, there is a dire need to investigate the fit or alignment between those technologies and business process needs. This study aims to find which determinants have a significant role in achieving a process-technology fit. For this purpose, we follow a quantitative approach to identify beneficial combinations of PTF determinants based on an international survey following fsQCA and PLS-SEM methods. The findings reveal that determinants better help align process needs with technology. The PTF framework helps professionals improve business processes by understanding organizational needs.
